Isolate and cultivate Mycobacterium spp. using InMicro® Dehydrated: Middlebrook 7H9 Broth.
Isolate and cultivate Mycobacterium spp. using InMicro® Dehydrated: Middlebrook 7H9 Broth. In 1958, Middlebrook and Cohn were the first to formulate this medium for the cultivation of mycobacteria. This medium is found useful in the transfer of cultures to be tested with biochemical media.

This medium is used for qualitative procedures. This medium contains inorganic salts which are essential for the growth of mycobacteria. Ammonium sulphate acts as a source of nitrogen. Biotin plays an important role in carboxylation and decarboxylation reactions, while pyridoxin is a precursor of enzymatic activity. The addition of ADC Enrichment provides a carbon source of energy, and catalase minimizes toxic effects.
Manufactured at a cGMP-compliant facility under the ISO 13485 standard, ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards, consistency, and reliability for both research and industrial settings.
