Isolate and cultivate Mycobacterium spp. using InMicro® Dehydrated: Middlebrook 7H10 Agar.
Isolate and cultivate Mycobacterium spp. using InMicro® Dehydrated: Middlebrook 7H10 Agar. Dubos and Middlebrook developed media formulations containing oleic acid and albumin which enhanced the growth of tubercle bacilli and protected the organisms against a variety of toxic agents. In 1958, Middlebrook and Cohn improved the first formulation of oleic acid and albumin agar to obtain 7H10 Agar, which allows faster and more luxuriant growth of Mycobacterium species.

This medium is used for qualitative procedures. This medium contains inorganic salts which are essential for the growth of mycobacteria. Malachite-green dye acts as a selective agent which partially inhibits bacteria other than mycobacteria.
Manufactured at a cGMP-compliant facility under the ISO 13485 standard, ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards, consistency, and reliability for both research and industrial settings.
