Accompanied by the exclusive OptiMix™ buffer, FusionTaq™ DNA Polymerase is engineered to effectively minimize non-specific amplification, background interference, and primer dimer formation. Its polymerase activity is initiated by a hot-start step at 95°C for 5 minutes during the thermocycling program, and it remains inactive at low and ambient temperatures, ensuring precise control over the amplification process.
The polymerase can be used with the GlowSight™ PCR Buffer containing two gel tracking dyes which allows the usage of PCR products to be directly loaded onto agarose gels without the requirement of an additional prep step. The buffer is non-toxic and highly convenient for use with a wide range of PCR products.
OptiMix™ PCR buffer, a unique component of the kit, optimizes primer binding efficiencies, promoting highly specific amplification of target DNA. With pre-optimized Mg+ levels, the buffer requires no experimental optimization for reaction setup, facilitating a streamlined PCR procedure. Enhancing the polymerase is the in-kit AVBlend™, a cutting-edge dual-cation additive that fine-tunes DNA melting behavior, aiding in the amplification of complex templates, including GC-rich ones.
