Avam® Exonuclease I cleaves single-stranded DNA in the 3′-5′ direction, releasing 5 monad-nucleotides and leaving double-stranded DNA molecules and the 5′ terminus intact.
For removal of single-stranded DNA from PCR products, set up the reaction mixture and incubate at 37°C for 15 minutes. Heat inactivate the enzyme at 80°C for 15 minutes.
