Differential medium for identifying bacterial species based on sucrose fermentation.
InMicro® Prepared CTA with 1% Sucrose is a differential medium used in the identification and classification of Gram-negative bacteria based on their ability to ferment sucrose. This medium contains 1% sucrose and helps to distinguish bacteria by observing changes in pH that occur when the sugar is fermented. The color change in the medium, from red to yellow, indicates a positive fermentation result. This product is widely used in microbiological laboratories for
the identification of Enterobacteriaceae and other enteric pathogens. It is also valuable for differentiating bacteria that ferment sucrose from those that do not, contributing to more precise microbial diagnostics.
Manufactured at a cGMP-compliant facility under the ISO 13485 standard, ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards, consistency, and reliability for both research and industrial settings.
