Utilizing a combination of FusionTaq™ DNA Polymerase and a unique PCR buffer system, OptiScript™ RT-PCR Kits ensure highly sensitive qRT-PCR on any real-time cycler without the need for optimization. The inclusion of dUTP in the dNTP mix allows optional treatment with uracil-N-glycosylase (UNG), eliminating contamination from carryover of PCR products.
OptiScript™ RT-PCR Kits are available in two formats: one for use with sequence-specific probes and another for SYBR Green detection. The SYBR Green format features a blend of reverse transcriptases optimized for efficient cDNA synthesis over a wide range of RNA template amounts. Alternatively, the probe format contains a unique RT-PCR buffer that promotes highly specific annealing of primers and probes to the PCR template.
With OptiScript™ RT-PCR Kits, you can detect reference genes and up to 3 targets in the same tube, saving time and resources. The kits also offer convenience and flexibility, as the master mixes can be stored at 2–8°C for added convenience.
