Product Description

The Ni-NTA Agarose utilizes patented Ni-NTA resin, which demonstrates high selectivity for proteins containing a His tag comprising six or more histidine residues. This technology allows for one-step purification of His-tagged proteins from various expression systems, including bacteria, yeast, mammalian cells, and baculovirus. The resin’s design prevents nickel-ion leaching, resulting in higher purity protein preparations compared to other metal-chelating purification systems. Ni-NTA Agarose is a robust affinity chromatography matrix designed for the purification of recombinant proteins carrying a His tag. Histidine residues within the His tag selectively bind to immobilized nickel ions on the resin with high specificity and affinity. This one-step purification system offers >95% pure protein yield from cleared cell lysates and is suitable for both native and denaturing purification conditions. The resin is precharged and ready to use, enabling automated purification and assay protocols for any scale of purification.
