The Multiplex PCR Kit is highly optimized to support multiplex amplification reactions for bacterial, viral, and microsatellite applications. This is facilitated by the cutting-edge recombinant FusionTaq™ DNA polymerase which is modified to have no polymerase activity at low and ambient temperatures and optimized for tricky GC-rich templates. FusionTaq™ also inhibits the extension of non-specifically annealed primers, thanks to the unique combination of K+ and NH4+ in the premix. The polymerase also prevents the inadvertent formation of secondary structures. FusionTaq™ is activated during the thermocycling program by integrating an initial incubation at 95°C for 15 minutes only. Minimal reaction condition optimization is guaranteed as the premix is crafted with specific concentrations of Mg2+ and the polymerase.
The AVBlend™ is a next-gen additive to the mix which aids FusionTaq™ and its behavior to assist in amplifying some of the onerous templates users might come across.
